Who are we?
Ako with Nola is a Māori and Pacific-led business based in Kirikiriroa (Hamilton), Aotearoa, creating bilingual and trilingual flash cards that celebrate language, identity, and early learning.
Founded by a daughter of Māori and Tongan heritage, our kaupapa is rooted in whānau, culture, and connection. With a deep understanding of the importance of language in shaping identity, we’ve created flash cards that bring together te reo Māori, lea faka Tonga, and English, supporting tamariki, parents, and educators to learn and grow together.
Our Volume 1 packs are designed to be simple, vibrant, and culturally responsive, perfect for homes, classrooms, and community spaces. Each set is packed by hand and shipped from our home base, keeping the process personal and grounded in our values.
